Dear Will, Here is my first T37 sailing on a large pond in the Catskills near Albany, NY. ( her name is LOOPLESS - Santa Fe)

I'll have my second one put together in a short time, but the second one will be in Santa Fe, NM until next summer. Next August I'll photograph them together and e-mail the photo to you.

BTW, I am ready for a T-60! Do you all have any plans to design a larger version???

Will,
I bought a kit from you at the Bellevue Arts Fair...When my older son (with the controller in the photo) came home after his first year at USC, we needed a summer project. We finished the boat last night. Today we took it to the reflecting pond at the Bellevue Downtown Park. It sailed well and was much more responsive than I had expected. Someone else had a remote control sailboat on the pond. There was no comparison. We could literally sail circles around the other boat on our first day out.
It will be lots of fun to sail over the years, but it was even more fun building it together. Thank you for making it available. My younger son (seated in the photo) will leave for Yale in a little over a month. He has already charged me with finding a project for the two of us to start next summer.
The pictures are from the maiden voyage.

Here are some photos from the "1st Annual Swimming Pool Regatta" of
Winston-Salem Sail and Power Squadron, Winston-Salem, NC. First Place was
taken by "Sea Biscuit", a Tippecanoe T18 captained by Past Commander Michael
L. Cranford, P. (Does the hat look familiar?)

The cork boat is "Quorkey" which was made by P/C Cranford and took the prize
for "Most Original". She didn't have enough ballast so the righting arm was
wrong and she didn't get to race.

Now that everyone saw what a Tippecanoe boat can do they want one too.

Michael

Hurrah for Sea Biscuit! Thanks Michael for the great pictures.

Hi,
It’s been a few years now, but I have 4 photos to share with you. Last Sunday we had a lot of fun sailing this beauty (I’ve named her "Spray") on Lake Union in Seattle. I will have to do this more often. It’s a lot of fun and kayakers, sailors, etc who cruised by were enthralled by her.
I appreciate all the help that you provided me along the way.
Sincerely,
Todd Staheli
Seattle

Not having a convenient lake nearby, I dug a pond 14 foot long by 4 foot wide by 2 feet deep in my back yard. It's very relaxing sitting by the pond with my t boats responding to the slightest breeze. There are goldfish in the pond as well as water lilies and other natural life. John
