This picture shows the transom and the steering arm for the rudder. The rudder access port is sealed with a clear mylar cover. You can see this mylar cover in place in the following pictures.

The normal deck on the T37 is also quite attractive. The Honduras mahogany edge veneer and transom veneer seen in the following pictures is included in the standard T37 kit.

The mylar cover for the rudder access port is in place in this picture, although it is almost invisible. The mylar cover is sealed down with a high-tec 3M doublesided tape that reseals innumerable times, so the cover can be removed easily and then put back in place. The main cockpit is sealed in the same way so it is easy to access the radio control gear. The radio control gear mounts on the RC platform which is 5/8 inch above the bottom of the boat so the RC gear is completely protected from any water. You can safely sail your boat right through big waves without the RC gear being affected.

There are two servos. One servo controls the rudder and the second servo controls both sails, pulling them in together or letting them out.
