Andrew's Film!!
This film is the very first movie we have ever recieved from a customer. Andrew called up and asked if he could make a movie for us. He started out with a T15 Racing Sloop years ago, and then he and his Dad built a T37 Radio Control Racing Sloop more recently (for pictures of the building click here) So we talked about the movie. I liked his ideas. I asked if he was going to charge us, and he said he just wanted to do it for fun, so it was a deal. I felt my part of the deal was to get the movie on our web site. This has taken better than a year. I've had to learn a lot about digital movie making and movie web format. Andrew chose a very nice song from Neil Young for the background music (Neil Young's song "Sail Away"). But I wasn't sure we could use Neil Young's song without permission and had no idea how to get in touch with Neil Young. So instead I chose a piece called "Sail Far Away" by Philip Boulding from his CD entitled "Legend of Inishcahey". Philip has been a friend for years. I called him and asked if I could use his music with the film and he gave me permission to use his music as long as we mentioned his web site. I think we have all of the Magical Strings CDs and they are our favorite music to listen to so it is a genuine pleasure and an honor to provide a link with his web site www.magicalstrings.com . If you like music inspired by Irish tunes, fiddle and harp and dulcimer, you will certainly get great pleasure from Philip's music. you can order the CD right from his site. Philip also builds beautiful harps and dulcimers. Now I have re-edited the movie with the new music and formatted it for web viewing - so here it is. Thank you Andrew!! You did a beautiful job!
