Hello Will:

Just finished my T37 serial #293 on April 6th and she sailed the first time on April 7th. Christened _Bullship! she sailed fantastic right out of the gate. (All my full-sized boats have that name.) :-D

The kit is both impressive and interesting. Impressive in quality and interesting in that an entirely different technique of building a marine vessel is used as compared to what I have been building all my life in aerospace.

I am most impressed in the fine detail of the building manual and the quality of the hardware, epoxy and varnish. My boat turned out to be an incredibly sleek machine that I am very proud of and absolutely satisfied with. I did the Honduras deck and found this to be a great option. Photos are attached.

My first voyage went without any problem whatsoever. I set the boat in the water and it surged forward as if by magic. My "ocean" was a city hall pond of about 10+ acres. Bullship! sailed beautifully all over the pond and I was very impressed with the speed, the grace and the ease with which it maneuvers.

While sailing and at my pickup in the parking lot thereafter, FIVE people came to investigate the sleek sloop and each one remarked on how nicely it sails and that they loved the boat's beautiful lines. One told me that he had a similar boat, (full-sized) and had recently lost it in a storm on Lake Texoma. He said that seeing my Bullship ! sailing, brought tears to his eyes!

Guess sailors really do get emotionally attached to their boat!

Will, you have a great ship here and my congratulations are most deserved.

Sincerely, Terry

Terry, these are beautiful pictures. Thanks so much. I love the yellow hull with the varnished mahogany of the deck. The dark line at the gunnels is a great detail. The name on the transom also looks beautifully done. I can tell this boat was built with a real eye for detail and built by a master! It also seems as though we just sent you the kit a short time ago, so you have completed your boat in record time as well. What a beautiful job!

Happy Sailing,

Will
