T37 in Mayne Island, Canada

"We wish we were "locals" and could join in the PTYC T-37 fleet sails and races. Alas, we live in the Canadian Gulf Islands and only get to enjoy your activities from afar or at the Wooden Boat Festival.

We bought a T-37 from Will at the Festival in 2013 and had a chance to talk with him at this year's Festival about the racing upgrade package and its advantages.

We really enjoyed building our T-37 (photos attached) but were a little intimidated by the thought of racing her this year. We'll practice more and bring her in 2015!

Enjoy your fall activities with these lovely little boats!

T37 in Marblehead, Ohio

"Hi Will,
I just wrapped up a very enjoyable winter project. Thanks so much for such a great boat. I’ll be sailing EAGLE on and around Sandusky Bay here in Ohio just as soon as our “hard water” goes away. Can’t wait!

T37 in Pleasant Hill, California

"Hi Will,
She is as beautiful as her name sake. You may recall in one of our conversations that my wife passed away of cancer about mid completion. This wonderful craft has been my therapy. I launched her yesterday and she brought me happiness, which is a rarity these days. Thank you for the help along the way. Also, John Ive gave me some finishing pointers. Now I will learn the fine points of sailing her and look forward to showing her off at Speckles Lake in San Francisco. I would be honored if you put some pics on your web site.
Clint"

Clint refers to the help John Ive gave him in finishing his boat. You can see more of John Ive's beautiful work in the Tippecanoe Master Craftsmanship pages at modelsailboat.com/craftsman.html . John Ive also talks about finishing in Will's second video on building the T37. Here's John Ive!

"Good morning,
Just wanted to share a picture of my self build in front of Mount Ventoux, Provence. Great fun and challenging to build and very enjoyable and therapeutic to sail.

Best Regards

T37 Build Sequence in West Virgina

"Here are a series of build pics I took along the way including a pair I just took at a local park I found as a great place for a maiden voyage.  The sail went very smooth, a mild wind let me get used to the controls and everything worked like a charm, not a single leak!  Thanks!

Sincerely
Dan Kelly"
