"Hi Will & Everyone at Tippecanoe,

Thanks so much for such a beautiful boat! Just finished it this week. Just like the other 3 boats of yours, it was a GREAT Project to help the Vermont winters go by. Wow, when I built the T50 Mod, I thought that was a beautiful and good size boat. This T65 is unbelievable. Thanks again so much for and enjoyable winter and looking forward to summer. -Bob & Melanie Swenson"

Rob Mulder builds another incredible T37 with a spectacular paint job. Was this the boat you won the 2024 T37 Regional Championships with, Rob?

The 2024 Regional Championships were hosted by the Bellingham T37 group sailing on Lake Whatcom in Bellingham, Washington. The 2025 T37 Championships were hosted by the Port Ludlow T37 group sailing at the beautiful Port Madison Yacht Club facility. In 2025, first place was Peter Conzi, second place was taken by Dan Newland, the video star in the YouTube series T37 Builders Guide, which you may have already watched! Will Lesh finished third place in the 2025 T37 Regional Championships.

"I didn’t get a video, but here are three stills. Larry had a small RC plastic boat that sailed, but not well. I let him sail my T37 and he was hooked. The most fun he’d had in a long while. Larry grew up sailing in the California Bay area. Even did a few trans pac races. Sailing was his joy in life.  He came alive when sailing his small boat and then with my T37. -Allan VanNess"

"Hello Will. I want to thank you so much for the gorgeous model sailboats you supplied for our sailors. The sailors were so excited and seeing their smile going from ear to ear knowing they were going to make, sail, and bring home these beautiful sailboats.

The sailors had a fantastic time building the boats. They later had a chance to sail them at the yacht club and then swim after them which was a fun day. Had a fun summer thank you. -Debbie"

"Hello from the skipper of Hull #1096 T-27!

This was my first RC anything, and my first model boat.  I have made miniature furniture and dollhouses in the past, but this was by far the most challenging and fun project to date.  She sails beautifully, and I am so happy to have had this experience. I did watch both Will’s and Dan’s videos for tips and techniques and pure enjoyment. Having the visuals was huge in this, my first epoxy project.

Thank you for making this kit and for all the support with the Tippecanoe boats. Jo-Ann Dupuis"

T50 from Palm Desert, California

"Just enough breeze to put her in the water.  I was amazed at how responsive she is.  I received lots of compliments from bystanders.  Thanks for designing such a beautiful sailboat.

Happy sailing, John Olver" (John also built his own custom carrying case for his T50! If you would like a carrying case for your T37 or T39, click here)

T37 from Melbourne, Florida

"She's done! My daughters have named her "Cherry". What a great boat. I cannot believe how balanced the boat sails under varying gusty conditions. Incredible design, sir! It also is unreal how well the boat simply sails into the wind. For such a small machine, it is just mesmerizing to see and feel how it reacts to the conditions. I could (and will) sit and run laps for hours."   -John W.

T12s from Glendale, California

"Hey Will,

Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to talk with me. I wanted to share a pic or two with you on their maiden voyage. Each vessel was christened with a splash from a split of champagne (for Mom and Dad) and a splash of sparkling cider that was shared with the young captains. The cruisers are fine vessels!

Best,

Matt K."
