"We live in Edmonds. Owen has always loved boats but became greatly enthused about wooden sailboats / model sailboats after we met you at the Edmonds Arts Festival. You had shown him a model sailboat and had told him you had built one when you were about ten. He was relentless in his enthusiasm and even talked us into taking him to the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend to meet Will. He was turning 10 in August of that summer and we ended up getting him a T-27 for his birthday. That summer ended too soon. We resumed work on his boat this summer and completed it just at the end of the summer right after Owen turned 11! We worked together on a lot of it, but I always let him lead the process. He proudly completed the last epoxy steps, all the varnishing and the rigging by himself. It was quite the learning experience and he has such great pride in his accomplishment. Thank you for sparking this wonderful interest and enthusiasm for a neat sport. And thank you to Will for taking the time to answer all Owen's questions and providing such great encouragement. "I sprayed the second enamel color on the boat and she looks pretty good, I have a white bottom with "Stars and Stripes Blue" (Dennis Connors' blue-gray AC boat color) on the topside. I did a cove stripe and WL stripe in white. - Dan"

The T52 and T50 are perfectly well despite the very big changes I made, especially on the T50 with the hull modified and double rudder installed. - Jose"
